Before there was a Jennifer's Homemade there was a damn good breadstick

Jennifer made breadsticks for dinner parties and friends fell in love. After years of people telling her to sell her breadsticks, a marketing background and a divorce, Jennifer had an epiphany, create a business doing what she loved.

That was the beginning

In 2005, Jennifer was a single mother often baking with her young daughter Stephanie.  She started Jennifer’s Homemade out of her passion for baking and the inspiration to create delicious products with integrity and quality.

Our breadsticks and flatbread are made from scratch with only the finest natural ingredients.

 

Our Unique Process 

Italian Biga

A biga is a type of pre-fermentation similar to a sourdough starter and we use it to make our dough
We made our original biga from scratch in 2019

Added Flavor and Texture

Using a biga adds complexity to the flavor and texture of our breadsticks and flatbread  

Less Perishable

A biga also helps to naturally preserve our products by making them less perishable

 

Easy to Digest

One of the biggest benefits of a Biga is that our Breadsticks and Flatbread are easier to digest. Many of our customers with gluten sensitivities tell us they can easily (and happily) eat our products
(everything is made with unbleached/unbromated wheat flour)

We use extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt and fresh rosemary in our recipes  

Everything is all natural, non-GMO and vegan
